Current Events 2

Last night was one of the worst nights I had in a long time. Getting ready for bed wasn't that bad, but when I actually went to bed disaster happened. I got into bed, plugged my phone into the wall, put my covers on, and started to sleep. That was until I started coughing. I couldn't stop and I really wanted to go to sleep. I went to bed at 10:30 and when I looked at the time when my mom came in it was 12:30, so I was coughing for at least 2 hours. My mom woke me up to some cough medicine, cough drops, and a humidifier. I'm guessing she couldn't sleep either because I was keeping her up with my coughing. I felt really bad but there wasn't anything I could do, plus I didn't know that I had been coughing that long or that load. Once I had my medicine and the humidifier I feel asleep until, my phone vibrated. I looked at my phone and thought I had a text message but I didn't, my phone shut off. Now, remember my phone was plugged into the wall. I just ignored it because I was really tired but it did it again. After that one I just turned off my phone not thinking it was my alarm clock for in the morning. So, in the morning I woke up to my boyfriend at 7:05. It was a good thing that he was there to wake me up, but I just wanted to sleep some more and skip first block. Needless to say he didn't let me and I had to get ready for school, but before I did I wanted to try to figure out my phone. When I plugged back in my phone I watched it charge, it went from one piece of the battery to two and then from two to three it was flashing. I thought, hey this is good my phone is charged, I was wrong. After about five seconds the battery went from flashing two to three to two to one to zero battery life and it died. I do not have my phone today and I really can't live without it, but I guess I have to learn to coop because I wont have one for awhile. :(

  1. Wow, just to comment on that whole disaster, I have had that same miserable cough for a week and a half. It is so miserable for the first few days it took me forever to get to sleep then i was beat the next day. I know that probably doesn't make you feel any better, but there is good news. I figured out that if you stay really hydrated it helps A TON! In otherwords, my grandpa always says, "drink water pee water."

  3. Sorry to hear that you had such a bad night. I had a cold recently for about two weeks and have just gotten over it. So I think something must be going around at school because almost everyone I know has either had a cold or has one now. I know I was told recently that if you drink lots of water and get plenty of sleep it should help. Also, I think vitamin C might work too. Hopefully you will get better soon.
